Travels in Atlanta

Photos taken on Saturday, 25 July 2009.
Atlanta gets very hot in the summer months. One of the best things to do is buy a big watermelon, chill it, cut it into pieces and eat it. The next best thing is to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden. And this is what we did. On a rather hot Saturday morning, James and I visited the botanical garden. The weather was beautiful and the orchids were in full bloom. Enjoy the floral treasures from the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Travels in MIT and Harvard

Photos taken on Sunday, 9 August 2009.
In August 2009, James and I spent 10 days in Washington and Boston as part of our summer vacation. Since James works in academia, one of the things he loves to do is to visit local colleges and universities. So, on a Sunday morning, James and I took a leisurely walk to MIT and Harvard. Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the universities are an easy walk from Back Bay, Boston.
