It was such a pleasure to visit plantation homes during our Easter trip to New Orleans this year. Two of the most popular plnatation homes are Oak Alley and Laura, both located near Vacherie in Louisiana. We enjoyed visiting both homes very much although they are very different from each other. The Oak Alley is 'Gone with the Wind' like while Laura is a Creole plantation.
